OBJECTIVES
GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF SMIS
The SMIS aspires to:

Holistic Formation
Provide religious training to give meaning to the entire academic and human formation;

Building Relationship
Provide opportunities for socialization with children of diverse culture and, economic backgrounds so that they may learn from each other the varieties of human conditions;

Instill Emotional Maturity
Help children, in accordance with their age and capabilities, to become mentally and emotionally mature;

Comprehensive Understanding
Equip children with necessary knowledge and skills needed in facing real life situations;

Self Leadership
Develop an awareness of their potentialities and talents and eventually direct them.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF SMIS
1. to help each student understand and appreciate the Catholic doctrine and its application in Christian school community and in the bigger community at large
2. to help each student acquire the greatest possible understanding and appreciation of himself and of all persons of other social, and diverse culture
3. to help each student develop habits and attitudes that enable them to become honest and responsible citizens
4. to help each student promote good health habits and understanding the conditions necessary for maintaining physical and psychological acumen
5. to present each student opportunities and encouragement in one or more creative fields of endeavor
6. to help each student strengthen, to the fullest possible extent, positive attitudes toward the learning process and mastery of the basic literacy and numeracy skills in preparation for a higher level
